Did you know that there is a Lewis Carroll Society? Like for real, I’m not kidding, there is one. It’s based in London but they accept members worldwide. I know I probably seem like a perfect candidate to join but…ummm…that’s a bit much…at least at this point in time.
However, if you would like more information or to become a member, then I by all means encourage you to join and let me know how you like it.
Come on, you know you want that membership card in your wallet. Who you trying to kid here? lol
HAHAHAHA!
As a past English major, I am totally not surprised. I’m fairly certain there is one for Shakespeare, which one of my fav professors is part of. These people are no joke. They go to London and do Shakespeare stuff and there are conferences. It’s crazy what’s out there. A few years back a book came out about Caroll and his love for the real Alice. Do you know what I’m talking about? I’ve always wanted to read it.
That’s true, I know that the Arthur Conan Doyle one is huge and their meetings sounds pretty cool actually. But this one didn’t make me jump up and down with glee. lol
I have seen a bunch of books on amazon about Carroll and the real Alice and have read a few so I’m not sure which one you are specifically talking about but if you remember the title let me know!
